We're delighted to announce another chance to snag a Zia puppy! Zia previously gave us a wonderful litter with phenomenally balanced puppies. They were the darkest red and black with dark almond eyes, beautiful head proportions, great anatomy, thick bone, and a world of potential. They had balanced temperaments, very sweet and notably happy in demeanor just like their Mama. The previous litter were all well inside the spectrum of "ideal pet temperament" from the Volhard Aptitude Test, with some on either end of either more driven or more laid back. Zia's pups have high intelligence and they make excellent family pets with potential to pursue competitive venues. These puppies will be very deep red and black, some sables (like Sting) and others saddleback (like Zia). All puppies will be long coats. These pups are notably happy and playful--they have the most endearing personalities and striking appearances. They will turn heads wherever they go because of both appearance and mannerisms!

V2 (USA), SG11 (BSZS) Sting vom Finkenschlag IGP3, hips and elbows A1 Normal. Notable in Sting's pedigree are Remo v Finkenschlag and Leo v.d. Zenteiche. Sting's head is large and magnificent with perfect proportions. Striking to a critical breeder's eye is his excellent conformation. He has a straight back that is lacking in the breed now more than ever, something that we are rather particular about. His coat is magnificent and the more uncommon red sable. It's so dark that many think he is a red and black saddleback. Sting's show critique from 2022 BSZS was [translated] "Larger than average size, medium strength, substantial, well-built male. Very typical and expressive, very well pigmented, grey clouded. Expressive, strong head with dark eyes. High, long withers, straight, firm back. Slightly sloping croup with good length. Good angulation of the forequarters, very well angulated, stable hindquarters, balanced chest proportions, correct front. Straight in front and slightly tight in the back, he shows a powerful drive, the reach should be even freer with good presentation."
