We're beyond thrilled to announce that our pride and joy SG1 Kep will be bred to the recently imported and gorgeous SG Jakov Knez Hof! Jakov is already making a name for himself when it comes to the type he is stamping on his puppies. We expect strong and smooth movement, uniformity in conformation, broad heads, rich red and black coloring, dark black masks, and phenomenally well-balanced temperaments. Both Jakov and Kep are the combination of world-class pedigrees themselves, and to combine them is a dream. We will be keeping a female or 2 from this breeding for ourselves, or a male! We breed for ourselves, and are very selective in producing the German Shepherd traits we find enjoyable, so rest assured only the best combinations are made. These pups will have high potential to become Service Dogs, as well as high potential for show and a variety of working and sport capacities while being excellent family pets and companions.

Jakov is a striking male with his massive head, short and broad muzzle, and dark mask. He is a very sweet male and yet his presence can command a room. He is a larger male at 67cm at the withers. He has a plush show coat, beautiful and dark almond eyes, and big bone. Jakov has strong loyal ties and displays his good character in every situation. He is good with children, good with other dogs, and has no behavioral vices. Through his motherline he is related to our amazing boy Finn by our favorite Saabat, so there are no doubts to the most amazing character we see in the breed today. Jakov has an almost humanlike clarity of mind just like Finn! On his sire's side, he's the direct son of VA2 Zamp, who is the direct son of VA1 (world champ) Usher, who is the direct son of TWICE world champ VA1 Willy. His family tree is full of dogs with incredible temperaments, good health, and track records of producing of greatness.

We're delighted to announce a second chance to snag a Zia/Ace puppy! Zia and Ace gave us a wonderful litter with phenomenally balanced puppies. They were the darkest red and black with dark almond eyes, beautiful head proportions, great anatomy, thick bone, and a world of potential. They had balanced temperaments, very sweet and notably happy in demeanor just like their Mama. We kept one for ourselves and receive constant good reports from the other puppies' new owners. The previous litter were all well inside the spectrum of "ideal pet temperament" from the Volhard Aptitude Test, with some on either end of either more driven or more laid back. Zia's pups have an innate desire to please, strong loyal ties, and high intelligence. They’ll be excellent family pets, the most delightful companions, and highly moldable for any competitive venues or personal purposes that their owners should want to pursue. The pups from this litter will also be beautifully balanced with that classic shepherd on/off switch that we love!

He is IGP3, and has accomplished KKL for life. Ace is a very impressive male in both appearance and demeanor, and his puppies go on to accomplish impressive show and working titles just like their sire. Ace's hips and elbows are SV A1/A1 (normal/normal, the best rating from Germany).

Some of the clearest-minded shepherds come from Vera's strong motherline. Her Mother Gwen comes from a veterinarian-developed motherline of over 8 generations with the goal of health, strong anatomy, and the clarity of mind and versatility that would allow the same dog to compete in IGP then switch to therapy work. We are priveleged to have personally known many generations prior to Gwen in a lineage where the dogs were reaching 14 years of age. Vera is a born-and-raised Euro Deja puppy from our retired girl Gwen, and retired boy Finn! You simply cannot get a stronger-bred female! Vera is one of the most excellent mothers, and passes phenomenal qualities down to her puppies. Marcello complements Vera beautifully.
